In the name of Jesus

The man was sitting on the bench next to me. He was wearing clothes of cold and wear. His beard was long and unkept. Grey, aged. His eyes were still. He was a man looking at me, calm, but strange in speech. My own demeanor not to be ignored. He spoke to me about this city. Miami. He told me of what goes on here. What he has seen here. I told him, I have not been here long. He told me of what goes on here. I said to him. Would you like two pairs of socks. I gave them to him. I said Merry Christmas. Blessed be this day. We prayed. The train came. I left. I am Shenandoah, now.
