At around 8:00 PM on October 4, 2024, I approached a police vehicle that was next to a CVS Pharmacy. Before approaching the vehicle, I had been inside of the CVS where I had asked the two associates on staff if there were a means by which I could have bread as I had no money to pay. The two associates who were on site told me that they were not able to because it was not there store. I then walked outside of the CVS Pharmacy and saw the police vehicle. Inside of the police vehicle, as I approached with my hands raised and in clear view, I asked the officer inside for any amount of money to be given, so that I could purchase food. The police officer was kind enough to hand me a $100 bill. I thanked him by saying, "God bless you Police Officer H. Jackson" - as that was his name - and then went on my way that evening to go find something to eat.
