Coming from a position of death, if starvation overtakes the death that is present, then life will occur.
The same is true for the position of life. From a position of life, if starvation overtakes that position, death will occur.
Starvation is a guaranteed on/off switch embedded in the most fibrous partings of existence. The drawback is how much time it takes to do it to the degree necessary to actuate the surgical response desired. Be it at the quantum level or at a planetary level.
